The Dino-Eye range of USB microscope eyepiece cameras provide a cost effective solution to viewing and capturing digital images through a traditional microscope (or indeed any other optical instrument with appropriate mounting). A Dino-Eye eyepiece camera allows you to turn your traditional microscope into a high quality digital microscopy solution with software measurement capability.

Featuring the same high resolution 1/3", 1.3M pixel, image sensor as used in the Dino-Lite Pro range of USB microscopes the AM4023 range offers excellent image quality at competitive pricing.

• AM4023 - REPLACES your optical eyepiece and fits a 23mm diameter.
• AM4023X - REPLACES your optical eyepiece and fits a 23/30/30.5mm diameter.
• AM423C - Fits a standard C-Mount port.
• AM423U - Fits OVER your optical eyepiece (up to 36mm diameter).

The Dino-Eye products utilise the optics and illumination of the host microscope system and so do not offer illumination of their own. The AM4023 and AM4023X models approximate to a 30x eyepiece and so when used in place of a standard 10x eyepiece will offer approximately 30% of the field of view seen with the original 10x eyepiece. The AM423U differs in that it fits over the existing eyepiece and is intended for use when a specialist eyepiece is required or a non standard eyepiece diameter is being used.

The fully featured DinoCapture 2.0 software for Windows (DinoXCope for Mac O/S) allows still images, real-time and time-lapsed video streams to captured quickly and easily. Using the built in editing and measurement tools text, graphics and measurements can easily be added to your still images and even directly onto the live microscope view. Results can be shared quickly and easily with others using the image save, export and email options and by using the advanced I.P. camera mode (DinoCapture 2.0 only) it is even possible to share the live image view with co-workers over the Internet!

Dino-Eye USB eyepiece cameras also operate as a standard Windows video device allowing them to be used as the video source for third party video streaming and image capture applications such as MSN Messenger, Skype etc.
