The AD413 Pro2 models are similar to their AM413 equivalent but have exchangeable end caps. A closed cap provides additional lens protection where this is required. Removing the end cap altogether provides additional working distance (~7mm) which can be useful in cases such as high magnification PCB inspection where the nose cone can fowl with taller components. The FC-L-MA1 45 degree mirror cap (for use with AD4013TL enhanced working distance model) is ideal for inspection of items such as BGA components, SMT connectors and markings inside small jewellery items etc. Standard open and closed caps are supplied with each AD model (plus polarizing cap on AD413ZT model).

The specialist illumination Dino-Lite Pro models offer a range of illumination options including U.V. (365nm, 375nm, 400nm) and I.R. (850nm, 940nm). With standard working distance models (based on AM413T) and enhanced working distance models (based on AM413TL) these provide solutions for applications such as forensic analysis, counterfeit detection and scientific research. Single light source and multi-option light source versions are available.
