Comparative Images
Below is a selection of comparative images to illustrate the differences in image quality, resolution and field of view between the various Dino-Lite models. These images were captured and saved at the maximum resolution supported by each device.
For a detailed set of example images illustrating the capabilities of highest specification model, the AM413T, please click here.
In order to compare the images effectively it is suggested that you view them at full screen. To do this either click on an image and force the pop-up window to display the image as full screen or use right click and select "Save Target As..." in order to download the images to your PC. You can then use your usual image viewer to view and compare the images.
In each case the AM413T provides the closest colour representation to the original object under inspection.
An important note with regards to image quality & resolution...
The 1.3M pixel Dino-Lite Pro models such as the AM413T (i.e. those which specify a resolution of 1280x1024) provide TRUE 1.3M pixel images and use a 1.3M pixel image sensor. There are other products on the market which, although they specify a maximum image resolution of 1.3M pixel (typically stated as 1280x960), use a lower resolution VGA image sensor. It is also important to realise that the quality of the optics plays a key role in the final image quality. In our opinion the Dino-Lite product range offers the best image quality, at both VGA and 1.3M pixel resolution, when compared with other devices of this class.
